The Hunters Point Power Plant in San Francisco was a fossil fuel burning power plant in the Hunter Point neighborhood of San Francisco and operated by the utility company Pacific Gas and Electric since 1926. As such, it was among one of the dirtiest and oldest oil burning plants in the whole state of California. The plant has been shut down since 2006 with the fuel tanks removed in 2008, the high power transmission towers still remain with the power lines still connecting it on the far left side, followed by its own shadow, and a still beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay behind.
