You’ll often see large barges on one side with kayaks or fishermen on the other, as trade and recreation have reached a workable balance. Impressive venues and restaurant patios provide magnificent river views. A 1.25-mile meandering River Walk follows the majestic waterway, connecting downtown to the river. Plans are underway to bridge the walkway with the Clarksville Greenway, creating more than 20 total miles of connected walking and cycling pleasure.
