This potted airplant is on a table in front of a white overhead door in the outdoor eating area of a restaurant in Dunedin,Florida. The Restaurant was closed the day I saw this scene. An airplant can be grown in water or soil. If grown in soil,it needs to be watered about once a week with a good soaking. It should be kept out of direct sunlight and the temperature should be above 45 degrees. In the wild,airplants grow on other plants,usually on tree branches.
