The sleeping beauty flower, or in scientific language *Mimosa pudica*, is an interesting shrub because of its ability to respond to stimuli. When the leaves are touched, they close quickly, as if "sleeping." This plant has small pink or purple flowers that grow in a circle shape, and usually blooms during the day. The leaves have a smooth texture and are oval in shape. In Indonesia, sleeping beauty flowers are often found in open areas, fields and roadsides. Apart from its unique movements, this plant also has benefits in traditional medicine, such as treating various health problems. Even though it looks beautiful, this plant can be invasive, so care needs to be taken when planting it.
