TThe town of Estella is located along the river Ega, between the foothills of the Cantabrian Mountains and the western Pyrenees. His name Estella, most likely beyond the legends that are told, she was given by the pilgrims who traveled from here to the shrine of Santiago de Compostela. The rediscovery of the Camino de Santiago in decades has escaped oblivion making it become a tourist center of historical and artistic interest.
