The fountain called Escalade located in the old city center is formed by a granite basin of Mont Blanc. The monument is composed of three levels: the first contains the names of the victims of the Escalade, the second of the bronze characters of the Escalade, and the third, at the top, stands a woman sculpted in bronze representing Geneva.
