Maize bhutta a CEREAL crop, Zea mays of the family Graminae, order Cyperales. In the Bangladesh it is cultivated to a limited extent in Kharif and Rabi seasons. Maize is cultivated in several Asian countries including the Philippines, Thailand, China, India, and Pakistan.
