The botanical garden of Mount Lu is mainly introduced and domesticated plants. It is a famous sub Alpine botanical garden and is the first official botanical garden in China. It is a comprehensive research institution based on plants, forests, gardening, medicine and environmental protection. It is also a garden for popularization of Botany knowledge, with an area of 30 square kilometers. The garden contains cedar and cypress, tree area, rocky garden, Cui garden, greenhouse area, bog plant area, nursery, cloud tea garden, kiwifruit introduction area and medicine nursery. Mount Lu specialty and many Yunwu Tea ornamental plants were produced in the. By the end of 2013, there were more than 3400 kinds of plants at home and abroad, and many kinds of plant specimens were stored. It has established friendly relations with 69 other countries and 271 plant research institutes, and is a member of the international arboretum Protection Alliance BGCI.
