This is an early Spring picture of a male Grevy’s Zebra standing in his compound at the Lincoln Park Zoo located in Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. The Grevy’s Zebra is the largest of the three Zebra species, it is also the largest living squid. The Grevy’s Zebra has a distinctive mile like head, has a gray belly, its stripes do not extend across that belly, and tall, erect mane extends the length of their backs. This picture was taken on March 22, 2018.
