This is an early Spring picture of sculptures of four chimpanzees as part of the Open Center for the Arts Weld Art and Science with Community Sculpture Project at the Lincoln Park Zoo located in Chicago, Illinois in Cook. Linty. The project in 2016 involved 200 elememtery students who were brought to the zoo for an education program on chimpanzees. At the conclusion the student were asked to draw a chimpanzee, a team chose the best four drawings which were turned over to Omar Magaña who Open Center For the Arts turned them into sculptures which were installed in 2018. This picture was taken on April 4, 2018.
