This is a Spring picture of a cable-car approaching the Fenelon Station, taken from a Cable-Car headed down to the Fourth Street Stztion, located in Dubuque, Iowa in Dubuque County. This is part of a two-stop, two-car, cable-car system known as the Fenelon Plave Elevator Compan that began operating in 1893. The cable-cars travel along 296 foot long tracks, at a 41 degree incline, to a 189 elevation change. This cable-car system was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 3, 1978. This picture was taken on zmay 6, 2018.
