Crepe Suzette is a French dessert consisting of a crêpe with beurre Suzette, a sauce of caramelized sugar and butter, tangerine or orange juice, zest, and Grand Marnier or orange Curaçao liqueur on top, prepared in a tableside performance, flambé. Crêpes are especially popular throughout France. The common ingredients include flour, eggs, milk, butter, and a pinch of salt. Crêpes are usually of two types: sweet crêpes & x28;crêpes sucrées& x29; made with wheat flour and slightly sweetened; and savoury galettes & x28;crêpes salées& x29; made with buckwheat flour and unsweetened.
