Yin Ruins, formerly known as & x22;Bei Meng& x22;, is the capital site of the Shang Dynasty in China, located in Anyang, Henan, China. In the fourteen years of Pan Geng, the twentieth monarchs of the Shang Dynasty moved to northern Mongolia & x28;now Anyang, Henan& x29; and changed to & x22;Bei Meng& x22; as & x22;Yin& x22;. Pan Geng started building Yindu in fifteen years. In the early twentieth Century, Yin Ruins was famous for the excavation of oracle bone inscriptions. In 1928, the Yin Ruins officially began to excavate the archaeological archaeology, unearthed a large number of urban architectural sites and rich cultural relics represented by Oracle Inscriptions and bronzes. The Yin Ruins have unearthed about 150 thousand pieces of bone inscriptions. The recorded data in Oracle Bone Inscription advanced the cr history written in China to the Shang Dynasty, and produced a new discipline -- oracle bone inscription.
