Facing the famous Diamond Rock in the south of Martinique, the House of Bagnard is an adorable little wooden box in bright colors inscribed in the Historical Monument since October 2006. Built by Aribot M̮̩dart who spends 15 years in a prison in Cayenne in French Guiana. Originally from Sainte-Luce in Martinique, this talented sculptor was sentenced to life for having carved the bust of Colonel Coppens, bust that was brandished by the crowd during the electoral riots of 1925. During this conflict, Colonel Coppens was kill.
