The existing walls and towers of the Kremlin were built in 1485-1516, respectively. The total length of the walls is 2235 m, their height is from 5 to 19 m, thickness is from 3.5 to 6.5 m. In terms of the wall, they form an irregular triangle. The top of the wall is decorated with teeth in the shape of a dovetail. Along the walls are 20 towers. Three towers, standing in the corners of the triangle, have a circular cross section, the others are square. We see the Vodovzvodnaya, Blagoveshchenskya Annunciation and Taynitskaya Towers.
