Asiatic Lion Panthera leo leo Young Male sitting and relaxing in shade . They are placed in Endangered category of IUCN and found only in the Gir National Park in India in their natural habitat. Gujarat State Government is not giving some of these Lions even after the orders of Supreme Court of India for their rehabilitation in Palpur Kuno Sanctuary area of Madhya Pradesh.
