Gazela bridge on the Sava river Belgrade. Gazela is the busiest Belgrade bridge above the Sava River. Over 165,000 vehicles crossed over it daily, although the bridge was designed for about 40,000. [1] It was built between 1966 and 1970 as part of the city highway and the highway Bratstvo and unity that was supposed to connect the former republics of the SFRY - Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
