The Perućica dust is about 20,000 years old and extends to around 1,300 hectares, abounds in beautiful scenery of untouched nature, examples of beech, fir and spruce whose trees reach a height of as much as 50 meters, and as such in 1952, it was proclaimed an area of special scientific importance , and two years later for a natural reserve under strict state protection. One of the last oasis of untouched nature in Europe, is surrounded by imposing mountain peaks in BiH, Maglić, Volujak and Sniježnica, while the Sutjeska river divides from Zelengora - one of the most beautiful mountains in BiH, which makes it a true bait for researchers and all lovers of nature .
