Gansu, referred to as “Gan” or “陇”, is a provincial administrative region of the People`s Republic of China. Lanzhou, the provincial capital, is located in the inland area of northwestern China. The Gansu border is between 32°11′-42°57′ north latitude and 92°13′-108°46′ east longitude. It is east to Shaanxi, west to Xinjiang, and south to Sichuan and Qinghai.
