Park Canada Park Canada or later name Ayalon-Canada Park is a well-groomed park located in the hills between the Latrun interchange and the ravine gate - halfway between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. This area was a difficult battlefield during the War of Independence. After seizing the space during the Six-Day War, the residents of four Arab villages were evacuated, and became one of the most beautiful parks in Israel. The park`s development was carried out by the Jewish National Fund, starting in 1973, with the generous donation of the Jews of Canada, in the park`s area is the ancient city of Ayalon, which gave the park its second name - Ayalon Park. The area combines planted pine forests along with olive groves, almond orchards and other fruit trees such as dates and almonds, whose winter blossoms are spectacular. Many historical sites and small springs are also prominent here. A beautiful little artificial lake with a wide lawn with palm trees and recreation areas and a picnic area for the whole family with tables and benches is an attraction for families who want to spend time with children with a barbecue outdoors.
