Guatemalan vendors set up their Christmas shops and stores in the Main Christmas Market in Guatemala City, Guatemala. As in many of the Latin American countries during Christmas Season and New Year celebrations, the use of Christmas Lights, Nativity Scenes, Christmas Trees, and paraphernalia is commonly used either by the common folk or institutions, to light up the sky and their shops or to attract costumers into buying the presents for this yearly occasion, or to adorn their homes to welcome their guests.
