A gaggle of Canada Geese land on the water just below J Percy Priest Lake Dam from the lake side, in Nashville, Tennessee. Built in 1967 as a TVA project, the dam spans the Stones River, creating J Percy Priest Lake. The man made lake serves as a primary water source for Nashville, and also provides recreational opportunities such as fishing, boating, water skiing, and camping. Anglers can fish for various species of bass and catfish, as well as crappie and sunfish.
