The actor was recently quoted saying that he becomes terrified on seeing fans going out of control. Huge garlands, heaps of papers, drums, cheers, mad crowds turned cinema theatres in kolkata into festive spots for the much-awaited ‘Bajrangi Bhai jan’ Friday. Star-struck fans were whipped into a frenzy as they watched the movie unravel into a visual grandiose. The police and the district administration heaved a sigh of relief as no untoward incidents took place in the region.nnA large number of fans who claimed themselves the luckiest in the country for they could get the movie tickets, turned up at the theatres several hours before the screening commenced in the morning. They could not contain their excitement despite having tickets and waited for the theatre gates to be opened.nnTraffic slowed down outside theatres as the crowd spilled onto the main roads. Black-marketers had a field day as fan frenzy reached peaked over the past couple of days. But what takes the cake is the fact that some fanatics purchased tickets for a bomb only to realize that they were duped after finding that they had purchased fake ones.nnPolice had to make security arrangements but were relieved to find that no untoward incidents occurred. Tickets were booked till Sunday in all theatres and even up to Tuesday in some theatres.n
