The eruption on the Fjárvörduháls eruption was a volcanic eruption on the Fjárvörduháls, which began shortly before midnight on March 20, 2010 and lasted until April 13 of the same year. Initially, reports were received from the police in Hvolsvöllur about a volcanic eruption and associated ashfall in or near Eyjafjallajökull. Later it was revealed that the eruption was a lava eruption in the north of Fimmvörduháls, just east of Eyjafjallajökull.
