Yves Saint Laurent SAS YSL is a French luxury fashion house founded by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner, Pierre Bergé. The company revived its haute couture collection in 2015 under former Creative Director Hedi Slimane. In April 2016, Anthony Vaccarello was appointed as the Creative Director. the firm popularised fashion trends such as the beatnik look; safari jackets for men and women; tight trousers; tall, thigh-high boots; and arguably the most famous classic tuxedo suit for women in 1966, Le Smoking. He was the first French couturier to come out with a full prêt-à-porter ready-to-wear line. Saint Laurent became the first living fashion designer to be honoured by the Metropolitan Museum of Art with a solo exhibition
