It is said that Colibita has the freshest, cleanest air in Romania. Before the artificial lake was created in the second half of the XXth century, at Colibita there was a thermal resort around 1923 which slowly disappeared when the lake was created and the village moved.
Mountains around invite anyone who wants to discover the sensation of walking through the woods, to inhale the distinct forest air filled with pine aroma.
