We got lucky with the good weather, we also got lucky with our decision to stop by Melk and visit the Melk Abbey, the architecture is simply breathtaking, we canââ¬â¢t tell this is a monastery if we didnââ¬â¢t know, this has got to be the most elegant monastery buildings I have ever seen, it feels a lot more like a glorious castle than a religious monastery. But considering they are famous for their manuscript collections and an educational institution for the monk, I can relate it to a magnificent university.
