You will drive past some pretty incredible scenery and you`ll want to stop, admire, and take a few photos. ... It was an early wake-up call for us to be at the Oban port no later than 7 am, but it was totally worth it, as we had 10 full hours to explore the island! There is a ferry service available for travelling to and from the Isle of Mull. There is a choice of 3 routes to Mull, Oban to Craignure, Lochaline to Fishnish and Kilchoan to Ardnamurchan and then to Tobermory. On average, this takes 45 minutes. You can take a hire car on the ferry but it works out quite expensive but if you intend staying a few nights it might be worth it. Mull is a beautiful island.
