Female common blue butterfly is sitting on spherical inflorescence. Latin name is Polyommatus icarus. Butterfly`s top side of wings is grayish brown. It is spotted with small brown spots surrounded by narrow orange rings that makes them look like eyes. The bottom side of wings is spotted with small black spots surrounded by narrow white rings that also makes these spots look like eyes. Near the edge of the wings are narrow orange stripes. The edge of the wings has white short fringe. Inflorescences consist of small white flowers. Flowers have long stamen with small yellow anther. Lighting is warm and bright. The picture was taken in the sunny summer day in Orenburg, Russia.
