Alstroemeria genus commonly called the Peruvian lily or Lily of the Incas, is a genus of flowering plants in the family Alstroemeriaceae. Malaga variety has yellow petals with brown orange spots and blue on the tips of the petals. All are South American natives although some have become naturalized in the United States. The leaves are variable in shape and the blades have smooth edges. The flower has six petals.
