Photo of Soviet toy airship with inscription USSR (CCCP) - Christmas tree decoration made in 1950s in Soviet Union. On October 4 1937 the USSR-V6 airship set a record for the duration of continuous stay in the air - 130 hours and 27 minutes. In honor of this event a series of Christmas tree decorations - airships - was released. However they became widespread only in the 50s when mass production was organized. Toy release date: 1950-1954
