This is an image of a stick insect, looks like a piece of twig. the color and textures of its body resembled a stick. the main characteristic of this insect is making its body wholly solid-straight when it is disturbed. it also keeps its forelegs and long feelers closed together above its head, while the rests of its legs are closed to its long-slender abdomen. it moves and crawls with all long-jointed legs. its natural camouflage can make it extremely difficult to spot especially when its is hugging on brown stems or dark tree trunks.
