The Church preserves the statue of the Virgin, proclaimed Queen of Matese. The Sanctuary of Santa Maria a Castello is an ancient building, perhaps originally from the 13th century. However, it presents renovations made in the 1700s and in the following century. The simple entrance portal is in carved stone.
