A compact, densely branched, leafy, evergreen shrub, 0.5 to 2 m tall. The leaves are attractive, oak-leaf shaped, with 7 to 9 deeply indented lobes and are close together, particularly in young growth. The flowers are yellow daisies, 30-40 mm in diameter with 15-30 florets of bright yellow rays and deep golden yellow florets. They are transported well above the leaves on thin, thin stalks 100-150 mm long. The peak of flowering is in autumn-winter-spring March to September, but the flowers are usually found in the bush throughout the year.
