Ema board is a small wooden board where shinto worshippers in Japanese culture write their prayers. they are usually sold in the shrine ground with one empty side where people can inscribe prayers and wishes. Once written, the board should be hung together with other boards in the shrine. These boards will later be burned together in ritual ceremonies or on special day.
