At present, the castle in Kostelec nad Černými lesy is the seat of the School Forest Enterprise of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The company`s management is housed in its walls and there is a facility for accommodation and meals for its own employees, students, as well as visitors who have come to Kostelec for work, teaching, congresses or as excursionists. The building is used for teaching and demonstration for forestry and environmental disciplines, for organizing scientific conferences, professional seminars or workshops
