Executive Producer Frank Rich, Stephen Sondheim, and James Lapine, Director and Executive Producer, arrive on the red carpet for the New York premiere of the HBO bio-documentary, `Six By Sondheim,` on the iconic composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim. The event was held at Manhattan’s Museum of Modern Art on November 18, 2013. Also in the image, on left, are Richard Plepler, then HBO head honcho, and Sheila Nevins, HBO documentarian. In his lengthy and productive career, Sondheim won 8 Tonys for Best Musical Score and another Tony for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, in 2008. He also won a Pulitzer and a Presidential Award. Sondheim died at his home, in Roxbury, Connecticut, on November 26, 2021, at the age of 91.
