The church tower, with an octagonal spire, is made of wood. There has been a cabinet organ, a small church organ, since 1913. The case and part of the pipes date from 1750.
From 1805, the Dutch Reformed Churches of Groet and Schoorl have one pastor who preaches one Sunday in one village and the next in another village. Today the church falls under the Protestant Municipality of Schoorl-Groet-Camp.
The church and the tower and the White Houses have been recognized and protected as a national monument since 1972.
