This European ancient landmark castle in Portugal was built by the Moors and is entirely made out of rocks on top of a step mountain peak, making it a dramatic, magnificent, and breathtaking view. The ancient architecture has turrets made of a wide variety of stones stacked upon one another. The castle battlements are a classic type of architecture that feature a square shaped embrasure and merlon design around the top perimeter of the castle walls. There is also a lookout tower at each end.
