The Gate of Yin-Yang is the door of virtuous and evil in Indonesia. The door is shaped like being split in two by the middle. The relief on the gate is based on “Balon”, a Balinese dance drama. Hindus believe that the devil is so large, if they make the door narrow, the devil can`t get through. Usually, there is a patron saint on both sides of the door, represent- ing saint and evil respectively. When people walk through the door there will be a feeling of reverence. The ratio of the landscape to the prototype is 1:1.
