In the fall and spring of 2021/22 the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix/Tempe hosted an exhibition of glass artist Dale Chihuly. The spots for his sculptures and installations were carefully selected to offer new perceptions of this desert environment. This Fiori - Flower - Boat is placed in the entrance area of the Garden. The boat is surrounded by prickly pear cacti, agaves, and spring flowers, indigenous to the Sonoran Desert.
