After the river, it flows northward to the Danshuiyouchekou and flows into the Taiwan Strait. Generally speaking, the Danshui River in a broad sense refers to the entire Danshui River system; while the Danshui River in a narrow sense refers to the section from Jiangzicui to Youchekou. The length of this section is only 23.7 kilometers, but it is one of the few rivers in Taiwan with wide rivers, stable flow and water transportation.
