Pictured are stone blocks from the South Tomb of the Djoser`s mortuary complex in Egypt. These fragments of stone blocks were originally discovered strewn on the floor of the burial chamber and on the ceiling of the granite burial vault. These most likely fell from the ceiling of the burial chamber. They were subsequently removed from their original location in the burial chamber during restoration.
