This red bellied wood pecker, which in my mind should be called a red headed woodpecker stopped out at my deck for some food in the winter. I love how bright his head is in this picture. I also love the black and white stripes on his back. I like how you can just barely see the snow in this picture in the background. This picture was taken on my deck in the East Coventry township outside of Pottstown in Pennsylvania .
