Pictured is one of eight panels on the vaulted ceiling of the main chamber of TT1, the Tomb of Sennedjem in Deir el-Medina. Sennedjem is standing paying homage to two anonymous dieties of the west sitting on the usual Ma`at sign. The first has the muzzle of a dog, speckled with black. Another anonymous god sits with a red background above the snake Apophis who is on the sign of the horizon. The scene comes from the Book of the Dead. Sennedjem was an Ancient Egyptian artisan who had the title `Servant in the Place of Truth`. He was buried in this tomb along with his wife, Iyneferti, and his family.
