The town of Aheloy is located in South-Eastern Bulgaria within the Municipality of Pomorie. It is located on the shore of the large Burgas Bay. The terrain is mostly flat, with a slight hilly terrain to the northwest of the city, known as the Strolata area Also near the city flows the river Aheloy, springing from the Aito heights and flowing into the Black Sea. The main occupation of the local population is construction and sea tourism. Aheloy has its own microclimate, formed by its flat terrain, Stara Planina and the Black Sea. It has very mild winters and cool summers, making it a pleasant and desirable place to live and relax.
