Krasnoyarsk is a large city in Siberia, located on the banks of the Yenisey River. It is an important industrial center and home to many oil industries. It has a population of over 600,000 and covers over 720 square kilometers. The city is served by two airports, and it is also connected to Moscow by rail. In addition, Krasnoyarsk has a large railway station where trains from Moscow stop on their way to or from Alaska.Krasnoyarsk is best known as the largest city in Russia that is located on an aerodrome. This means that it is accessible only by air trains and cars can't get there directly. The Krasnoyarsk aerodrome is located just outside the city planes must taxi through a narrow section of the airport before dropping off or picking up passengers. Only a few runways are long enough for large passenger planes to land. In addition, only a few terminals are large enough to handle international flights these flights typically have more passengers than checked luggage. Krasnoyarsk isn't easy to get to, but it's worth the effort if you're interested in air travel.Krasnoyarsk is also known as 'the Venice of Siberia' because of its many natural attractions. The Yenisey River runs through the city and eventually joins the Yenisey River near Tyumen. Both rivers are popular with kayakers and canoers alike, as well as with local residents who enjoy swimming in them. They're also good sources of fish and other wildlife. The city itself isn't very picturesque- it's mostly concrete buildings-, but its suburbs offer plenty of interesting sights. Many houses are built on wooden scaffolds so people can see the natural landscape beneath their property. In addition, the city has several parks where people go ice skating in winter and to enjoy local flowers during springtime.Unfortunately, Krasnoyarsk isn't exactly a warm-water beach town like its name suggests. It's far from the ocean, and most of the city's natural attractions lie inland- including its major park and zoo. However, this does mean that Krasnoyarsk isn't as cold as other cities in similar climates. The temperature rarely dips below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, and average summer temperatures are only slightly cooler than that. There's also a mild autumn and spring where temperatures aren't too bitterly cold either. In addition, almost all indoor activities take place during these seasons so less strenuous activities are possible year-round without heating costs draining your bank account!Krasnoyarsk isn't an easy place to visit, but it's definitely worth a trip if you're interested in air travel or natural wonders like Venetian gondolas or swans on parade! Although it's far from the ocean, it does have some indoor entertainment options like amusement parks and theaters. And since most air travel leaves from or returns to an aerodrome, Krasnoyarsk is easily accessible by train or car back into civilization once you've seen enough natural beauty to last you a lifetime!
