PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk & x28;“the Company”, “DSNG”& x29; posted sales in 2018 of IDR 4.8 trillion, down 8% compared to 2017. This was mainly due to the decrease in the average price of the Company& x27;s Crude Palm Oil & x28;CPO& x29; from IDR 8.1 million per tonne in 2017 to around IDR 7.2 million per tonne in 2018. The Company& x27;s CPO sales volume in 2018 remained at the level of 455 thousand tonnes due to congestion on CPO transport vessels since mid-2018 causing delays in vessels which ultimately hampered sales. The palm oil segment contributes around 79% to sales, while the remainder comes from the wood products business segment. Sales of the palm oil segment in 2018 fell 12% to IDR 3.8 trillion, while sales of wood products increased 14% to IDR 989.6 billion. The decline in sales also had an impact on the Company& x27;s gross profit, which fell 11% to IDR 1.5 trillion. Nonetheless, the Company was still able to maintain its gross profit margin at the level of 32% compared to 2017& x27;s gross profit margin of 33%. In 2018, the Company recorded an EBITDA of IDR 1.3 trillion, down 14% with an EBITDA margin of 28%. Meanwhile, the Company& x27;s profit in 2018 was recorded at IDR 427.2 billion, a decrease of around 26% compared to 2017, with a profit margin of 9%.
