The fountain has an area of about 1 ha. In its basin (dimensions 115x108 m) there are 300 water nozzles of various types (geysers, foaming, dynamic, fog, spot, palm, water jets), which can spray water to a height of 40 meters, and 3 fire nozzles. There are 800 light points on the bottom. All this is part of multimedia water shows taking place to the rhythm of music. The show is complemented by projectors and colored laser lights. The cost of building the fountain, according to the original calculations, was supposed to be PLN 20 million[6], but in the end the construction cost PLN 12 million. The opening of the fountain took place on June 4, 2009. The project was prepared by Archad Design Studio - Artur Moryson.
