Melastoma malabathricum L. Clown trees are native to Thailand,Malaysia,Australia. They are classified as shrubs with a height of about 1-3 meters. The trunk and branches are reddish brown,the branches are square. All parts of the trunk are covered with light brown fine hairs.The flowers bloom in a bouquet at the tip of the stem,about 3-5 flowers per flower. When blooming,the flower is about 4-5 centimeters in diameter. The flower is pinkish purple. In general,the flower has 5 petals or 4 petals.Or 6 petals,5 petals,a cup of flowers covered with flat scales. The flowers are a complete bouquet. The flowers have 10 yellow male pollen in two bands and have a curved purple syllable. The ovaries are under the petals. They can bloom all year round,but there will be a lot during the rainy season.
